Wonderhill Farm’s Equine Refuge and rehab  provides a safe place to land for retired Therapeutic Riding horses. We feel that it is our responsibility to take care of those horses that have assisted in the healing process of those with special needs.  Wonderhill Farm’s is dedicated to promoting wellness and healing.

Holly Carlile has been rehabbing horses off the race track for 25 years.  She is also a P.A.T.H. certified instructor and has been working with those with special needs for the past 5 years.  She knows first hand how these horses make a difference in peoples lives and wants to provide a home where she can provide the help and care they need to retire in dignity. 

Most of these horses will live out their lives here at Wonderhill Farm while others may be re-homed, and still others are brought into the Equine Assisted Therapy program. This is a program that requires no riding and is done between horse and human one on one.
